Observing the chaos!

April 2025:

It’s been a while since I wrote on this forum. But the world is in a state of heightened chaos – all of it manufactured for political or financial gain – with an overlay of climate catastrophes that are being ignored because of the constant distractions! It’s all very purposeful and yet pointless. The outcome of this constant assault is hurting ordinary people, going about their regular lives, working, playing, raising a family, falling in love, falling out of love, moving around the  planet to better connect with and understand each other, while trying to create order and success in their lives. So I feel compelled to start a dialogue about things!

And in almost every country there is some kind of strife. The USA is, at the moment, arguably in the worse situation with the newly elected President fulfilling every evil promise he ever made, much to the astonishment of those who voted for him. Not to those who were appalled by his declarations, believing his intentions were real! Everyone is suffering though – globally – not just his enemies or supporters. The obvious decline in his mental capacity is disturbing but more so is the complicity of those closest to him who are content with the economic and democratic and intellectual destruction he is wielding across America and much of the rest of the world.

What is deeply concerning is why and how this has occurred, and with such enthusiasm, and where we go from here. History shows us that the ending of this type of episode in human evolution, like similar scenarios in the past, will not end well for the perpetrators nor sadly for the innocents who are and will be collateral damage.

The brutal regimes of Putin’s Russia and North Korea and some parts of South America and other corrupt dictatorial governments are no surprise. We have lived with those for a long time. It is only the USA’s  bizarre new behaviour that has triggered an new sense of alarm and fear.

I find it difficult, impossible really, to ignore it or to remain indifferent. I have too much curiosity, concern about the future of our planet and our species and the world my grandchildren will live in!
